We are writing to inform you about an upcoming maintenance update for Microsoft Teams for our Azure Virtual Desktop customers. This is scheduled for Tuesday morning, 2:00 am - 4:00 am, 05/11/2024.

Post-update, you may need to update your current Teams shortcut on your taskbar. Please follow the steps below to ensure continued access to Teams:

1. Remove the current Teams shortcut from your taskbar. To do this you will need to right click on the Teams icon, and select "unpin from Taskbar".
2. Find the Teams app by searching for “Teams” in your Windows search bar.
3. Right click on the Teams app and select “Pin to taskbar” to create a new shortcut.
